Front desk lady was very kind and soft spoken. Continental breakfast had a decent selection and was filling enough. The property was clean and felt pretty safe as well. Let's be honest here, how many places do you go where the staff befriends you when you stay for a few days? Certainly not a big chain. They are plenty friendly from the get-go but cracking jokes and shooting the breeze? You don't … More get that elsewhere. Every time I come here they are doing a major remodel on a room - they don't just let their place decay, they're always making sure their rooms are up to snuff and if it isn't to your standards they'll accommodate you ^_^They are extremely professional, security minded (several of the staff can be seen walking the grounds and doing security walks all day long), patient but very, very efficient.Anything and everything you could expect from such an establishment is here and just because it's one of the cheapest places in town that doesn't mean they skimp on anything - they just know how to run their business right and how to spend their money. Don't waste time with any other place - the location, the price and the amenities make this a no-brainer!Pictures were posted after several days living inside one of the rooms so keep that in mind!

For an older motel I was actually impressed that it was nicer than I had thought it would be. Front desk service was great and checking in was quick and easy even though I booked online.

The morning continental … More breakfast was not a very large spread and variety of items but very sufficient to fill the needs for The Travelers. Large fresh variety of muffins Hostess products, bananas, yogurt, juices milk, and cereal are all available at the front desk. The hotel had no fancy amenities, no sauna, Spa, weight room or swimming pool but it was a basic good night sleep.

Best customer service at a hotel/motel ever. Called and asked for a bottom floor room with king size bed and a.c.to escape the heat wave, which we got. Once there, I called to ask for extra pillows and to tell them the remote wasn't … More working correctly. Within minutes they knocked on the door with said pillows ( long and soft) and a new remote. The new remote didn't work and after 2 more attempts, they said the t.v. wasn't accepting the remote codes and they didn't have a new or replacement t.v. and that they would get us one the next day. Less than an hour later they knocked on the door with a brand new, still in the box 40 inch television the old one was a 20 inch, which I assume they had ran across the street to Fred Meyer or Walmart to buy. Installed and set up in minutes. Awesomealso the best rates we could find in the area. Thanks, we will be back.

Nice cozy place! Rooms are spotless. Staff is very friendly. Well worth the reasonable price. Great cable tv, wifi, and a/c unit and it's in the perfect location with restaurants and shopping all around.

Stayed for two weeks and the rooms are nice and clean. The staff very friendly and talkative. Treated me like a real person and the prices was a blessing. Only thing missing was a spa and pool.

I have been coming here now for 3 months and some. The owners and all the staff are kind,caring,and very polite. And i love how its pet friendly. And i have a pit bull. Coffee all through the day and night. Very clean. Not counting the … More train i guess its very quiet here for being right in a traffic area. But i run chain saws all day for 13 hrs so for me the traffic an train i dont ever recall it ever coming threw. I wont stay anywhere else when i need a relaxing place to go out this way. Bars restaurants gas store car parts and shopping places are all in pretty much in a 2 block ratios. What the hell more could you ask for. Plus my 10 yr old enjoys it here. And he is a complainer. And if hes happy should count your blessings. And with all i have to say about the fairground inn. Id like to say thank you for having us and for the warm welcomings. The room was clean and comfortable and really liked the continental breakfast. I noticed the bathroom sink very slow draining and being in room next to laundry facility is not good.
